The rates below come straight from the Depop Help Centre article “Seller fees and charges”, verified on 6 October 2026. We don't copy rates from other calculator sites.

Boosted Listings fee: 12% for US and UK sellers on new listings from 23 March 2026, 8% for sellers outside the UK and US — charged on the item sale price (excluding taxes), plus shipping if you don't use a Depop label.
How the calculation works
Every figure on this page follows the official fee bases:
- Payment processing is charged on the item price plus buyer-paid shipping plus any sales tax collected. Sales tax is pass-through: it inflates the processing fee but is never part of your payout or profit.
- The 10% selling fee (Canada, Europe and other regions) is charged on the item price, plus the shipping cost when you don't ship with a Depop label.
- Boost fee uses the same base as the selling fee: item price, plus shipping when no Depop label is used.
- Payout = item price + buyer-paid shipping − selling fee − processing fee − Boost fee.
- Net profit = payout − your item cost − your actual shipping cost.
- Break-even listing price = the lowest listing price at which net profit reaches $0.00, holding every other input constant.

Depop fee calculator FAQ
- Does Depop still charge a 10% selling fee?
- Not for sellers based in the US, UK or Australia — those regions have no Depop selling fee, only payment processing. Sellers in Canada, Europe and other regions still pay the 10% selling fee on the item price.
- What are Depop fees on a $100 sale in the US?
- With a $100 item, no buyer-paid shipping and no sales tax: 0% selling fee, processing fee of 3.3% × $100 + $0.45 = $3.75, payout $96.25 before your own costs.
- Is this Depop fees calculator up to date for 2026?
- Yes — the fee table above was verified against the official Depop Help Centre on 6 October 2026, including the Boost change that took effect for new US and UK listings on 23 March 2026.
- Why does my payout change when I enter sales tax?
- Depop's payment processor charges its percentage on the full transaction value including tax. The tax itself goes to the tax authority, not to you — so a higher tax means a slightly higher processing fee, but the tax amount never lands in your payout.
